POSITION:    MANAGER, TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING
HOURS:  40 HOURS PER WEEK

JOB DUTIES:
Primarily apply expertise in US Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to provide technical guidance on accounting issues and the application of accounting principles and regulatory pronouncements to various clients served by SOAProjects.  Assist clients of SOAProjects in the preparation of annual and/or quarterly financial statements and disclosures for external reporting in accordance with GAAP. Assist SOAProjects clients in the accounting close process; identification of accounting issues and drafting necessary accounting memorandum to support accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP. Responsible for project management for various SOAProjects clients and working closely with SOAProjects clients to understand and respond to various technical accounting project requests.  

EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2 years Post Secondary
48 months experience in accounting
